Job purpose:
As a Global Mobility Expert, you will play a key role in delivering end-to-end operational support for international assignment cases within a Shared Services model, working closely with the Global Mobility CoE and global stakeholders.
This role is focused on case support & administration, ensuring that all operational aspects of international assignments are executed accurately, consistently, and in line with defined processes and timelines. You will act as a central coordination point between Global Mobility CoE, HR, Payroll, Finance, and external vendors, ensuring smooth execution and high-quality service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support to the Global Mobility Business Partners in the CoE across assigned mobility activity
- Manage day-to-day communication and ensure accurate and timely execution of the tasks
- Prepare cost estimates and compensation calculations, and support assignment documentation (e.g. assignment letters and agreements)
- Initiate and coordinate external vendors (tax, relocation, payroll, insurance), ensuring smooth service delivery and follow-up
- Provide and validate payroll-related inputs for mobile employees, supporting accurate and timely payroll processing
- Support re-charge and invoicing processes, including cost validation and coordination with Finance
- Maintain accurate assignment data and documentation in Mobility systems, ensuring data quality and audit readiness
- Prepare reports, trackers and case updates to support operational monitoring and stakeholder communication
- Identify and escalate risks, delays or inconsistencies in case execution
- Contribute to process improvement and standardization within Global Mobility operations
Candidate’s profile:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in HR, Business Administration, Finance or related field
- Previous in-house Global Mobility experience is preferred, ideally with strong exposure to Global Mobility processes in Shared Services delivery
- 3-6 years of experience in HR Operations, Shared Services, Global Mobility, or a coordination-focused role
- Experience in expatriate tax, immigration, payroll, and relocation processes, with the ability to identify complexities and flag to the Global Mobility CoE
- Knowledge of compliance-driven HR processes, payroll administration, and annual cycle activities affecting mobile employees
- Ability to build effective working relationships with local HR, Payroll, Finance, Compensation, and external providers
- Good Excel and MS Office skills; experience working with tools, trackers, and systems
- Fluent English (spoken and written)

In March 2016 we established a Shared Service Centre in Kraków, in Poland to support our global strategy. It is from this location that we have created a global shared service platform, focusing on advanced business functions such as financial accounting and reporting, planning and performance management, ICFR testing, financial systems management as well as HR integrated talent management operations.
This role is related to the key area of Zurich’s activity in Kraków.
